Gladiators go Wild Wild West

Wyoming is known for Yellowstone and Jackson Hole which is where the Salt Lake City Gladiator Rugby Club had the privilege of going there in June 24th-26th. The Jackson Hole Moose rugby extended an invitation to come participate in their Tetons Invitational Tournament alongside some competitive and upcoming teams.

Rabbit Rentals of Pleasant Grove provided exceptional travel with their new and luxurious vans fit for several rugby men to sit comfortably. The local business continues to go above and beyond for the Salt Lake Rugby Club each time we utilize them as we support local. Thank you to them for their returned support as we work together to prosper.

Pulling into Jackson Hole, the team enjoyed the historic town center, local eateries and team bonding that continues to bring the idea of family in rugby to the heart of it's organization.

Saturday morning brought lots of energy as the tournament began. It was really good to see everyone out on the field doing what they enjoy. After, 3 intense games and 1 forfeit the Salt Lake City Gladiator Strong, were recognized as the Tournament winners.

The Gladiator Strong meticulously prepared for this tournament with daily practices. They executed a game plan that worked for the team as they brought home the Tetons Title.

“They were confident. They played without fear and do it because they want to." said CEO and founder Moresby Tauiautusa. We continue to try and provide for the men and women in the Salt Lake City/West Valley area he went on to say. "It is about continuing to do what you love and doing it with pride".

Congratulations to Paulo Anani rewarded as Tusa Top Forward and Jeremy Sefuiva for Tusa Top Back. Both were rewarded with $100.00 for their efforts from the Gladiator Sponsor, Tusa Pest Control. Tusa Pest Control wants to recognize those that go above and beyond to make things great just like their business.

There's something about a strong rugby organization that provides friends, leadership and growth on and off the field. We are continuously grateful for the opportunity and hospitality that the Jackson Hole Moose Rugby organization extended to us. We hope to have the chance to play their clubs again and maintain this relation as neighboring rugby states.

For the love of rugby, #GladiatorStrong
